In Loving Memory of Coleman Leroy Stone and Chlo Ann Townsend Stone.

It is with deep love and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Coleman Stone on September 3, 2026. He has now joined his beloved spouse, Chlo Ann Townsend Stone, who passed on October 18, 2023. Married for 70 years, they shared a life filled with devotion, laughter and unwavering support for one another.

Coleman was born in 1934 to Henry and Zella Stone. Chlo was born in 1935 to Thomas and Ola Townsend. They were married in1953, beginning a partnership that became the heart of their family.

Together, they raised three sons, Michael, Barry and Phillip; creating a home where kindness, hard work, and love were everyday values – their bond was an inspiration to all who knew them.

They are survived by two sons, Barry (Vicki) and Phillip (Anne); three grandsons, Patrick, Eric and Ben; nieces and nephews. They were predeceased by their son Michael; Coleman’s parents Henry and Zella Stone; sister Dorothy Jones and brother Roy Stone; Chlo’s parents Thomas and Ola Townsend and sister Rilla Jo Patterson.

Their love story was one of quiet strength and enduring devotion – two lives marked by an unwavering faith in God, deep love for family and dedicated service to their community. Though they are gone from our sight, their legacy lives on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know them.
