Easter Eggstravaganza!

Last weekend, on April 4, Southern Revere Cellars began hosting its two-day Easter Eggstravaganza, a festive community event featuring multiple Easter egg hunts, baby piglets, food vendors, and activities designed for guests of all ages.
The celebration continued Sunday, April 5, with “Bunny Pics Day,” offering guests the opportunity to take complimentary photos with the Easter Bunny, along with professional photography provided by Making Memories by Megan.
Despite rain in the forecast, organizers moved forward with the weekend’s activities as planned.
“Mother Nature’s keeping us on our toes, so we’re rolling with it,” Southern Revere Cellars shared. “Same Easter spirit, just spread out a little so we can dodge the weather and keep the fun going all weekend long.”
Additional attractions included bounce hous- es, Hidden Pond Farm, Mary Kay with Katie, face painting by Transformations, Nikki with Scentsy, Cottonwood Crafts, and a variety of other vendors and family activities.
Food was provided by From the Farm Food Truck, River City Wood Fire Pizza, and ice cream from The Dreamsicle.
Among the weekend’s most anticipated attractions were one adult Easter egg hunt and two children’s Easter egg hunts, held on site against the backdrop of the venue’s scenic grounds.
Nine-year-old Trevor Grey, participating in direct competition with his younger sister, said he collected 10 eggs during one of the children’s hunts.
“I think she only had four, but I gave her some of mine,” Grey said. “It was definitely like a stampede once they opened the gate. We have had a lot of fun, but hopefully I can get my face painted.”
