Miss Louisa County, Louisa Town Council member read to students
Miss Louisa County 2026 Nicole Linder and Louisa Town Council member Vicky Harte attended Louisa County Middle School on May 15 to read to one of the special education classes. Linder read “Worry Monster,” a book about how to calm anxiety which was followed by mindfulness activities with the students. “I hope that the students feel safe enough to talk about their emotions as best as they are able to,” Linder said. “Each classroom that I visit is a reminder for me that a small conversation can truly make a big impact.” CONTRIBUTED PHOTO
