00 Black Men of Central Virginia Scholarship
Recipients of the scholarship are African American seniors in public schools in Charlottesville city and Albemarle, Buckingham, Nelson, Greene, Madison, Orange, Louisa and Fluvanna counties. Recipients must have a 3.0 GPA and are expected to participate in mentoring activities sponsored by the 100 BMCV.

Aurora Belle Pinel Memorial Arts Scholarship
This scholarship has been created in memory of Randy Herman’s granddaughter, Aurora Belle Pinel (20122023). Aurora Belle was an artist, painter, dancer, and musician. She embodied a universal wisdom that was whimsical, wise and inspirational to all those around her. Aurora always wanted to help others and her love of the arts was apparent and not limited to one medium. The recipient of this scholarship should have compassion for others and the tenacity to stand for others in need; a willingness to work in varied art mediums (physical and visual) and share that talent with others; have a plan to attend a two or four year academic institution and major in the arts.
