Dorothy Mae Mallory Sharpe (Dottie Mae) went to be with her Lord and Savior April 22, 2026.

Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her presence touched everyone who knew her. She was a faithful servant of God and loved her family dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents Alva Lee Mallory and Eugenia Whitlock Mallory, and her husband Herby Terrell Sharpe. She is survived by her two daughters and two grandchildren, Donna Sharpe Doherty and her children Bryan Terrell Richardson and Joseph Bates Richardson, and Teresa Sharpe Coryell (Heath).

The funeral will take place at Woodard Funeral Home in Louisa on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 11 a.m., immediately followed by internment at Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive visitors prior to funeral from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.
