Beverly Johnson Duval, 82, of Kents Store, VA, passed away on March 23, 2026. She was born on October 23, 1943, to the late Vernon and Bernice Johnson. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Ivanhoe R. “Jack” Duval; her brothers Gilbert Johnson (Peggy) and Delmas Johnson (Ellen).

She is survived by her brother J. “Monroe” Johnson (Margie), sister Lynnel Morris, and brother Leroy Johnson (Doris). Though she had no children of her own, Beverly dearly loved her many nieces, nephews, and their families.

A devoted member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, Beverly was known for her hardworking spirit, retiring from Service Master at age 80. She enjoyed yard sales, restoring furniture, crafting, and creating quilts and afghans. Christmas was her favorite time of year, and she cherished watching the children open their gifts each Christmas morning.
