Allen Byrd Pippin, born August 16,1927 to Benjamin and Pinky Pippin, passed quietly on June 10, 2026 at the age of 98. Allen is preceded in death by his brothers, Ben, George, and Johnny. His daughter Ava and nephew Stuart.

He is survived by his wife of 75 years Virginia, daughter Rebekah, sister in law Marianne of Ipswich Suffolk and nephew Gary of London.

A US Army Veteran, serving in Germany during WWII at the age of 18-20. Allen retired from the Department of Agriculture, Farmers Home Administration in 1993.

Allen was a gentle and kind man with a strong faith and love for his family and friends. He always had amusing stories to tell and a teasing sense of humor. He loved vintage cars and trucks and restored several in his younger adult years. He was a collector of vintage carpentry tools and railroad memorabilia. He and Virginia enjoyed auctions, antique shows, yard sales for many years after retirement.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, June 28 at the Louisa Christian Church at 3:00 PM with a reception to follow in the church Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the Louisa Christian Church – 104 Elm Ave, Louisa, VA 23093.
