After months of public controversy and debate surrounding Louisa County’s more than $6 million investment in new synthetic turf fields, the Board of Supervisors approved a framework Monday designed to establish rental rates, usage guidelines and responsibilities for the facilities while balancing community access and longterm stewardship. I’ve called Louisa home for nearly my entire life and graduated from Louisa County High School with the Class of 2006. Growing up, I had a goal of playing baseball for James Madison University, but life choices took me in a different direction. Through faith, hard work, and the love of my amazing wife and three children, I’ve built a life that I’m now proud of.
Today, I am an award-winning journalist and stay busy covering local news and working in the electrical trade. When I’m not on the job, some of my hobbies include hunting & fishing, collecting sports cards, and just being a boring dad.
